Job Description
A full-time school psychologist position is available in Englewood, NJ, serving a K-12 educational setting. This contract role spans from November 2025 through April 2026 to cover a maternity leave, operating full-time at 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, supporting students' academic and emotional development, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to the creation of individualized education plans (IEPs). The school psychologist will work closely with the school team to promote positive learning environments and address student needs.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for K-12 schools
- Experience performing psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
- Ability to develop and implement interventions for diverse student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, parents, and administration
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education services
