Job Description

This contract role is designed for a licensed Illinois School Psychologist to provide expert psychological services in a K-12 school environment located in Elgin, IL. The position focuses on elementary and middle school students with a caseload of 25 hours per week during the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide evaluations to support student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral and academic challenges.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state licensing standards.
  • Offer guidance and consultation on mental health issues within the school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Illinois School Psychologist License.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational systems and psychological assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Elgin, IL school district.
