Job Description

A school district located in Elgin, IL, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for an onsite, part-time contract position. This role involves providing essential psychological services with a focus on bilingual evaluations across multiple school buildings. The position operates up to two days per week, from 7:30 AM to 3:55 PM, supporting a diverse student population through comprehensive assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bilingual psychological evaluations for students in various school settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support student learning and emotional well-being.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to strategic intervention planning.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Psychology.
  • Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Illinois.
  • Experience conducting bilingual evaluations is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work onsite up to two days per week.
