An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional in the field of school psychology. This position focuses on providing essential psychological services to students within an elementary school environment, addressing the diverse needs of a K-8th grade caseload.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois license as a School Psychologist (PEL)
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly K-8th grade
  • Bilingual skills are considered a strong asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Location:

  • Elgin, IL (on-site at an elementary school)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators
  • Provide consultation services to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
  • Deliver direct psychological services and interventions to students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
