Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional in the field of school psychology. This position focuses on providing essential psychological services to students within an elementary school environment, addressing the diverse needs of a K-8th grade caseload.

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois license as a School Psychologist (PEL)
Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly K-8th grade
Bilingual skills are considered a strong asset
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents
Strong assessment and intervention skills
Effective communication and organizational skills

Location:

Elgin, IL (on-site at an elementary school)

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators
Provide consultation services to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
Deliver direct psychological services and interventions to students
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
