Qualifications and Preferred Background:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist licensure
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in testing, IEP/SST meetings, and possibly providing counseling services in a school setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Participate actively in IEP and Student Support Team (SST) meetings, offering expertise on student needs
- Coordinate with special education and counseling teams
- Deliver counseling services to students as needed
- Maintain clear documentation and provide timely reports
- Align practices with district, state, and federal guidelines
