Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school in Dudley, MA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing psychological services within an early childhood setting, managing a caseload to support students' mental health and educational development.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist credentials required
- Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
- Ability to manage and assess caseload effectively within a school environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students within the elementary school
- Develop and implement intervention strategies based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and behavioral health
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote positive outcomes
