Step into a highly impactful position as a School Psychologist supporting students ages 1419 with mild to moderate disabilities throughout the fall semester. In this contract opportunity, youll work full-time on site at one secondary school, building strong connections with both students and staff. Your expertise will help shape an enriching educational experience and foster positive outcomes during a pivotal time for these learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
- Experience working with adolescent populations in a school setting
- Strong skills in administering assessments, providing direct support, and collaborating on IEP teams
- Comfortable managing a caseload cap of 45 students while assisting with evaluations
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to varying needs
- Must complete school-specific onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative psychological services to students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Conduct and assist with comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations
- Work closely with teachers, families, and student support teams in crafting and refining IEPs
- Provide data-driven insights to guide student interventions and supports
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance requirements
- Participate in meetings and trainings as part of a collaborative school environment
- Contribute positively to a supportive, inclusive atmosphere during this brief but meaningful assignment
