Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist license required
- Experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of special education regulations, assessment strategies, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, social, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Interpret assessment data and collaborate in developing IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver individual or group counseling to students as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on strategies to support student learning and mental health
- Stay current with best practices, participate in professional development, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
