Job Description

A school district in Denver, CO is seeking a certified School Psychologist to fill a full-time, onsite position at an elementary school. This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services within a supportive educational environment, serving an assigned caseload of approximately 40 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide consultation and intervention strategies to address behavioral and academic challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
  • Implement crisis intervention and support services as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent)
  • Work onsite at an elementary school located in Denver, CO
  • Contract duration: December 8 through May 22
