A school district in Denver, CO is seeking a certified School Psychologist to fill a full-time, onsite position at an elementary school. This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services within a supportive educational environment, serving an assigned caseload of approximately 40 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and intervention strategies to address behavioral and academic challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Implement crisis intervention and support services as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
Location and Schedule:
- Position is 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent)
- Work onsite at an elementary school located in Denver, CO
- Contract duration: December 8 through May 22
