Job Description

A school psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year serving students in grades K-12 in Dearborn, MI. This contract role involves working 37.5 hours weekly across two schoolsone high school and one middle school. The focus is on supporting students learning, social, and emotional development through early identification and intervention programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting pre-assessments for students suspected of having disabilities.
  • Consulting on classroom organization, social structures, and effective teaching methods.
  • Developing individualized educational plans and behavior management programs.
  • Assisting in adapting instructional practices to meet diverse student needs.
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Specialist degree or equivalent in school psychology.
  • State certification or approval as a school psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting.

Additional details:

  • Remote panel interviews will be conducted.
  • Fingerprint clearance is required prior to starting.
  • A signed contract must be on file before onboarding.
  • Supervision support will be available within the district.
  • Collaborative environment working alongside special education professionals.
