Job Description

A K-12 School in Dearborn, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team on a contracted basis for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success through comprehensive psychological services that foster educational and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement support strategies
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Monitor student progress and make recommendations to enhance learning and behavioral outcomes
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with all state and federal regulations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within a K-12 educational setting
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
