Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist License required
- Proven experience working in school settings, ideally at the elementary and/or middle school level
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to fostering student growth, well-being, and inclusivity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to address students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
