Desired Qualifications:
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with K-12 student populations across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Expertise conducting psychoeducational assessments and providing clear, actionable reports
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures, including IEP development and participation in eligibility meetings
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, especially in multi-site or itinerant roles
- Collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student strengths and areas needing support across multiple school sites
- Interpret assessment data and assist in eligibility recommendations
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for IEP and 504 Plan processes
- Deliver direct intervention and counseling as required
- Consult with teachers and families to develop effective educational and behavioral strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district and state guidelines
