Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Cottage Grove, OR is seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a full academic year contract. This role offers the opportunity to support students' academic, social, and emotional development through comprehensive psychological services in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support student learning and behavioral goals
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
  • Assist in implementing school-wide programs for mental health awareness and positive behavioral support

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
