Step into an impactful role providing essential psychological services within an educational environment near Cleveland, OH. This contract position is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist passionate about fostering student growth and supporting school teams.
The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Youll support a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, all within a single school building, focusing on a range of services such as evaluations, IEP participation, and direct interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure.
- Demonstrated experience conducting psychological evaluations and developing IEPs.
- Proficiency in providing evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and case management skills.
- Knowledge of special education laws and compliance procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide psychoeducational assessments for students and interpret results for educational planning.
- Collaborate on the development, implementation, and review of IEPs.
- Deliver direct and indirect interventions for students, supporting their emotional and academic needs.
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to recommend strategies and accommodations.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of all evaluations and services.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes.
