Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in school psychology
• Masters or Doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field
• Experience working in educational settings, particularly with middle school students
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and other academic interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess for learning disabilities and other developmental disorders
• Interpret test results and create detailed reports to guide individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges
• Offer crisis intervention services for students dealing with trauma or bullying
