Job Description

A school district in Chicopee, MA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide vital psychological services within a high school setting. This contract position spans the current school year, offering an opportunity to support students academic, social, and emotional development through assessment, consultation, and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results to assist in student learning plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate findings effectively

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with school personnel and families
