Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist. This position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across two elementary school campuses. Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll partner closely with teams to deliver interventions and conduct evaluations for students, primarily assisting those requiring mild support.
In this role, youll split your caseload between two buildings, handling approximately 10-15 evaluations at each location during the contract. Your expertise in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff will be essential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid School Psychologist license
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong foundation in child development, learning assessment, and behavioral intervention
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple campuses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven commitment to helping children achieve academic, social, and emotional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students in need of support
- Craft intervention strategies and participate in IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress and work collaboratively with teachers and families
- Deliver consultation and resources for mild academic or behavioral concerns
- Maintain thorough, confidential student records
- Foster a positive, supportive environment across both assigned elementary schools
