Job Description

Provide comprehensive psychological services to elementary students (K-5) by conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments to support their academic and social-emotional development. Collaborate closely with special education teams and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to ensure tailored interventions and support are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for K-5 students.
  • Administer and interpret assessments related to learning, behavior, and mental health.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to support student success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to develop individualized strategies and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist License for the state of Indiana.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational intervention strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is located onsite at an elementary school in Carmel, IN.
  • Part-time schedule: 3 days per week, totaling 20 hours per week.
  • Contract position for the current school year.
