Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-5 students, preferably in an elementary setting
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide interpretation of results
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement appropriate interventions
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Provide professional development to school staff on mental health and educational practices
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
