Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) School Psychologist License is required
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and students
  • Ability to develop individualized education and intervention plans
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing documentation and reporting requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret assessments to evaluate students cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional development
  • Contribute expertise to student support and intervention teams, participating in eligibility, IEP, and 504 meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to design and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services to students and staff as required
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Stay up to date with advancements in school psychology, best practices, and emerging research
