Job Description

A full-semester contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting located in Canton, MI. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services aimed at promoting students' academic success and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning needs and challenges
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to guide student support strategies
Support the development of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)

Desired Qualifications:

Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
Experience working within K-12 school environments
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to school psychology services
