Job Description

A full-semester contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting located in Canton, MI. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services aimed at promoting students' academic success and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning needs and challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to guide student support strategies
  • Support the development of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
  • Experience working within K-12 school environments
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to school psychology services
