Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field is required
- Valid Kentucky (KY) School Psychologist license
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong evaluation, counseling, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Provide direct individual and group counseling to support student development
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations related to students psychological needs
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote safe, inclusive, and positive learning communities
