Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available from early November 2025 through the end of January 2026 in an elementary setting serving K-12 students. This contract role focuses on supporting a school community in Arlington, WA, with a caseload that includes approximately 10 reevaluations due within the assignment period and initial evaluations. The position is key in providing psychological services to students, including participation in the preschool/Child Find team on Fridays alongside another psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and reevaluations for K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective educational plans.
  • Participate in the preschool/Child Find program to identify and support early childhood needs.
  • Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding student behavioral and emotional challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with mandated reporting and district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State ESA Psychologist license is required.
  • Experience in conducting psychological evaluations in a K-12 school environment.
  • Familiarity with preschool and early childhood assessment is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to adhere to all district onboarding and compliance processes, including OSPI fingerprint clearance.
