Step into a pivotal role supporting student success and well-being as a School Psychologist in the Oak Lawn area. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, with consistent hours from 8am to 3pmproviding a stable work-life balance while making a profound impact on children and school communities.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Expertise in conducting educational and psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and functional behavior assessments
• Proficiency in participating in and facilitating IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience in school settings, demonstrating an ability to connect with diverse student populations
• Commitment to supporting students academic, social, and emotional development

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Engage actively in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and reporting assessment findings
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create strategies that address students learning and behavioral needs
• Provide consultative and direct support services to students as appropriate
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of all student evaluations, meetings, and intervention plans
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive educational environment for all students
