Key Qualifications:

• Current South Carolina School Psychologist Certification is required
• Strong understanding of child development, assessment practices, and intervention strategies
• Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred
• Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting diverse student needs within a collaborative team

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments for students
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and guidance to students as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to develop supportive learning environments
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert recommendations and insights
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices within school psychology
