Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure and certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Experience working with K-8th grade populations preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop intervention strategies
- Strong communication and collaborative skills with parents, staff, and administrators
- Knowledge of MTSS/RTI processes and special education requirements
- Proficient in crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform student psychological evaluations and interpret data for individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to best support student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative services to staff and families
- Develop and monitor behavioral interventions and support systems
- Work closely with parents to communicate findings and offer guidance for student development
