Job Description

Providing psychological services in a middle school setting, this full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed school psychologist with a passion for supporting grades 6-12 students. The position requires on-site work at a K-12 educational facility located in Bear, Delaware, offering stability through the full school year from the start date (ASAP) through June 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to middle and high school students.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote positive student outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle and high school populations.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention techniques.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) on-site, Monday through Friday.

Location:

  • School site in Bear, Delaware.
  • On-site presence mandatory.
