Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid school psychologist certification or license
  • Experience working in K-12 educational environments
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Location: Bay City, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess students' abilities and academic achievement
  • Identify and diagnose learning barriers
  • Re-evaluate students as necessary to monitor progress
  • Participate actively in Individual Education Plan (IEP) Team Meetings
  • Provide written reports detailing evaluation results and proposed Special Education eligibility
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Develop and implement appropriate interventions based on evaluative findings
