Job Description

This contract position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist in a school setting located in Barre, VT for the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment runs from August 28, 2026, through June 18, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Candidates will discuss their specific caseload during the interview process after internal postings are completed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with behavioral interventions and supports
  • Adhere to all state regulations and school policies regarding student services

Qualifications:

  • Must meet all state certification and licensure requirements for School Psychologists
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work fully in-person at the Barre, VT location throughout the contract period
