Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license (IL PSYCH)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Strong background in psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation within educational environments
- Experience working with school-aged children across varied backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral interventions to students as needed
- Offer crisis intervention and consult on behavior management strategies
- Lead small groups or individual sessions focused on social/emotional learning
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards
