A reputable elementary school in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for an onsite contract position. This role offers a full-time opportunity to provide essential psychological services to support the academic and emotional well-being of students in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for a caseload of approximately 40 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies.
- Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a school setting and collaborate with educational teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
