A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year at a middle school in Arlington Heights, IL. This role is ideal for licensed professionals holding valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials, eager to support the social-emotional and academic development of middle school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being.
- Utilize data to guide interventions and monitor student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials are required.
- Experience working with middle school-aged children is preferred.
