Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional with expertise in school psychology for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This role offers the opportunity to support student development and well-being across all grade levels in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed or certified School Psychologist with experience in K-12 settings
Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling strategies tailored for school-aged children
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs
Skilled in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting functional behavioral assessments
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with current educational laws and guidelines related to special education and student mental health

Location:

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and challenges
Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention plans
Support educators in creating positive learning environments and behavior management strategies
Participate in meetings and workshops to stay informed on best practices and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
