Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification
- Proven experience in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of special education procedures and legal requirements

- Experience with MTSS and PBIS frameworks
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school climate
Location:
- Ann Arbor, MI, serving at various schools including high school, middle school, and elementary levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Facilitate and lead REED/MET/IEP meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders
- Engage in data-driven decision-making processes to enhance student outcomes through MTSS initiatives
- Participate in Child-Find activities to identify and support students in need of services
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to stay updated on special education procedures and best practices
- Develop functional behavioral assessments and behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Intervene with students facing behavioral challenges, promoting positive strategies for success
- Carry out risk assessments to ensure student safety and well-being
