Job Description

An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide specialized psychological services in an elementary school setting in Altoona, WI. This contract position supports students by conducting assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating with educators and families to foster student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in elementary school settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work collaboratively within a school team.

Location: Altoona, WI (Elementary School)

Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
