Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist in Georgia
- Strong background in psychoeducational assessments and behavioral interventions
- Experience developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, parents, and administrators
- A passion for supporting diverse students and helping remove barriers to learning
- Flexibility to work on-site in the Suwannee/Alpharetta vicinity
What Youll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, and behavioral functioning
- Consult with teachers to develop and implement effective interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Facilitate small group or individual sessions focused on building social skills and resilience
- Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
- Document and track progress to ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as an advocate for students well-being and success
