Job Description

A unique opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services within a K-12 school setting in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time position involves working closely with students to support their educational and emotional needs through assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state license or certification in School Psychology
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Proficient in conducting psychological assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:

  • Albuquerque, NM

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Develop and implement appropriate interventions based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Provide professional development for staff on mental health and learning
  • Consult with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student assessments and interventions
