Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming school year within a K-12 educational setting in Pittsfield, MA. This contract role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population through comprehensive psychological services designed to enhance educational outcomes and student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels K-12.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff to support individual student needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote positive student outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license.
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with educational staff.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, 5 days per week.
- Located in Pittsfield, MA.
