Job Description

A reputable elementary school in Acton, MA, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide vital support throughout the current school year on a contract basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the academic and emotional well-being of young students within a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning needs and challenges.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
Provide counseling and support services to help students manage social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and academic success.
Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Valid license or certification to practice as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
Strong knowledge of child development, special education laws, and psychological testing procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse student populations and school staff.
Experience working in an elementary school setting is highly desirable.

Location: Acton, Massachusetts
