An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled nurse eager to make a difference within an educational setting. Support the well-being of students by overseeing medication administration needs in a collaborative, onsite school environment. This part-time position offers stability throughout the school year, from September 3rd to June 15th for the 2026/2027 session, with a manageable schedule of 12.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license for Washington state
- Experience in school nursing or providing care in educational settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational abilities
- Professional, compassionate approach when working with students and school personnel
- Commitment to maintaining student privacy and adhering to medication administration protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver medication and health-related support to students according to individual health plans
- Maintain accurate health records, medication logs, and communications with caregivers
- Monitor students for any potential side effects or adverse reactions
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure continuity of student care
- Uphold ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements
