A healthcare professional with a valid New Jersey RN license is sought for a contract position within a K-12 school district in Paterson, NJ. This role involves providing nursing care and support to students across multiple schools on a floating basis. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will run through the end of December, offering approximately 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care and health assessments to students within the school district.
• Manage health plans and medications for students with diverse medical needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, including para-professionals, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs who provide supervision.
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and maintain accurate health records.
• Support health education initiatives and promote a safe school environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience working as a school nurse in K-12 settings.
• Ability to manage a flexible caseload, floating between multiple schools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
