Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Current RN license in Delaware (DE RN License required)
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations
• Passion for working with young children and collaborating with educators

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer daily health care and medication to students as prescribed
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
• Maintain accurate health records and document all nursing actions
• Monitor and manage students chronic health conditions
• Serve as a health resource for staff, students, and families
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the early childhood program
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create safe care plans for students with unique needs
