A specialized opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in tracheostomy care to support a 5th-grade female student in an early childhood school setting. This role offers a full-semester contract, providing dedicated nursing support from ASAP through May 20, 2025, in Barberton, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive tracheostomy and respiratory care for a student who is oxygen-dependent and wheelchair bound.
• Assist with communication facilitation through eye gazing techniques.
• Collaborate closely with the students support team including paraeducators, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs.
• Adapt to scheduling needs, including days off when the student is absent, which may extend up to a week or more.
• Ensure all nursing duties align with state regulations and school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Ohio RN license required.
• Proven experience managing tracheostomy care and respiratory needs in pediatric patients.
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling, including part-time or full-time hours (7:00 AM to 2:30/3:00 PM).
• Ability to work one-on-one with a medically complex student in a school environment.
• Professional communication skills and readiness for both remote interviews and in-person parent meet and greets.
