Provide specialized nursing care as a 1:1 Registered Nurse for an elementary school student with critical pediatric needs at a Pickerington, OH location. This part-time assignment requires dedication to delivering high-quality, individualized health support in a school environment while accompanying the student via bus transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver trach care, including suctioning (oral and trach) with expertise and precision
- Manage tube feeding, administer medications via G-tube, and perform water bolus care
- Utilize and support mobility devices such as AFO splints, wheelchair, and Hoyer lift
- Monitor vital signs using pulse oximetry and maintain continence care routines
- Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure seamless healthcare integration during the school day
- Provide compassionate, attentive nursing care to a 5th grade student on a one-to-one basis
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in Ohio
- Proven critical pediatric nursing experience, especially trach and suctioning procedures
- Skilled in school-based nursing and pediatric specialty care
- Ability to work part-time on Tuesdays, including travel on the school bus to and from school
- Commitment to student safety, confidentiality, and effective communication

- Schedule: Part-time, 1 day weekly (Tuesday)
- Duration: December start through May 22, 2026 (flexible start date)
- Caseload: One student with complex medical needs
