Job Description

A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) position is available for a K-12 public school setting in Heidelberg, PA. The role requires a dedicated nursing professional to oversee health rooms and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with multiple disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to K-12 students
Manage health rooms ensuring a safe and supportive environment
Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement IEPs
Monitor and support students with multiple disabilities throughout the school day
Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies and regulations
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed

Qualifications:

Current certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN)
Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred
Experience working with school-aged children, particularly with multiple disabilities
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of school health policies and state regulations

Location: Heidelberg, PA Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday Start Date: ASAP
