A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide essential health room services within a K-12 school environment in Nottingham, MD. This contract position runs from August 18 through June, offering a valuable opportunity to support the well-being of students during the academic year. The role involves managing the health room and addressing the medical needs of school-aged children across all grades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care and support to students in the school health room
• Monitor and assess student health and provide first aid or emergency care as needed
• Manage medication administration in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and safety
• Implement health education initiatives and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN licensure required
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
