Providing essential healthcare services in a school environment, this role engages with K-12 students to promote wellness and address health needs within the campus clinic. The ideal candidate is a licensed RN or LVN in Texas, skilled in pediatric care and familiar with school health protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to students, managing a caseload with multiple daily visits.
• Conduct routine screenings including hearing, vision, and spinal assessments.
• Coordinate with school staff and families to support student health plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary within the school setting.

Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN or LVN license required.
• Experience as a School Nurse, RN Educator, or Pediatric ER Nurse is preferred.
• Familiarity with hearing, vision, and spinal screening processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with children and school personnel.

Location:

• Copperas Cove, TX
• Contract position
• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
