Key Skills and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license required
- Registered Nurse (RN) credentials
- Experience with or interest in serving diverse K-12 caseloads
- Confident in signing off on documentation and managing individualized healthcare plans
- Adaptable to working across multiple school locations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee and document student health plans, managing a variety of mild to complex disabilities and needs
- Verify, sign off, and maintain accurate healthcare records to support compliance and student success
- Serve as a reliable health resource for students, educators, and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students' health and educational goals align
