A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to support elementary students in a school setting. This position offers a part-time schedule with a focus on providing specialized medical care to a medically fragile student on a 1:1 basis.

Position Details:
- Discipline: Registered Nurse
- Schedule: 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Contract Duration: ASAP through June 2025
- Grade Level: Elementary
- Caseload: 1:1 medically fragile student support
- Number of Openings: 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care and health services consistent with the student's individualized health plan
- Monitor, assess, and document the student's medical condition throughout the school day
- Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with regulatory requirements
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and ensure student safety
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
